The agreement that applies when you order a memorial from us.

These Terms of Service apply when you use this website, request a quote, or place an order with Capital Grave Markers. By placing an order you agree to the terms below. Please read them together with our Customer Service page, which covers ordering, delivery and product care in more detail.
Made-to-Order Products
Every memorial is produced to order and personalized with the names, dates and details you approve. Because each piece is made specifically for you, production begins only after your written design approval and payment terms are in place.
Pricing & Payment
- Prices shown are the base product price in U.S. dollars.
- Taxes, cemetery or permit fees, Alaska/Hawaii delivery charges, installation, foundation and extra engraving services are not included unless stated.
- Any customer program or discount is subject to its own eligibility terms. Programs do not stack, and one program applies per order.
Cemetery Approval
Confirming your cemetery's size, color and setting requirements is the purchaser's responsibility. Please verify them in writing before you order, as cemeteries set their own rules for what they will accept.
Design Proof & Personalization
You will review and approve a digital proof before production starts. Please check every name, date and spelling carefully — once you approve the proof, we build the memorial exactly as shown.
Delivery
Approved products are delivered across the United States. Shipping is free to the 48 contiguous states; Alaska and Hawaii are available for an additional charge shown before payment. Products target shipment within 90 days after all payment, design, cemetery and delivery requirements are complete. Installation is not included in the product price.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Within the first 3 days: a 10% cancellation fee applies.
- After 3 days but before production: a 30% cancellation fee applies.
- After production begins: a personalized product is non-refundable.
- Separately itemized services that have not been performed are refundable, except for non-refundable third-party charges already incurred where permitted.
Limitation of Liability
We stand behind the quality of our granite products. To the extent permitted by law, our responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not responsible for cemetery decisions, installation performed by others, or delays outside our control.
