What should you check when comparing upright granite headstones?
Upright granite headstones stand above the ground and provide a vertical face for names, dates and artwork. Check the total height, tablet width and base footprint against the cemetery’s rules. Capital Grave Markers lists each available product option separately. The size shown on one design is not a promise that every upright can be made in that size.
Look at the outline as well as the inscription face. An arch, carved tree or shaped top changes the space around a name. A design that looks balanced with one name may not suit two names and a shared verse. Keep the full inscription together when you ask for a design proof so the layout can be reviewed as one piece.
The foundation is a separate part of the decision. Ask who will supply it, what base dimensions the cemetery requires and who is allowed to set the headstone. A shipping address does not answer those questions. A memorial delivered to a site still needs a safe plan for unloading, handling and setting.
Use the listed color and size controls to compare prices on the actual product. Record the selected SKU in your notes so a quote refers to the same option. Review any optional services as separate lines, not as assumed inclusions. The headstone types guide explains how an upright differs from a flat, bevel or slant marker before you commit.
